Another denizen of the Nelson Market is "Pope Jam".
I met the proprietor (the male one) .. last name of Pope!
The guy is a good bloke - a classic kiwi entrepreneur I would say.
I wanted to talk about his jams's but made a mistake by mentioning I was from a tech background - and so we ended up discussing the Internet instead.
I was quite interested in his fruit infused vinegars - they looked cute.
A quick search on Google - proves my point - re: the Kiwi entrepreneur. He sold his previous brand Anathoth to Barkers in 2009.
Now he is on his way again with Pope jam - and some funny looking Internet businesses.
Definitely a keen and restless mind at work.
